The Bay of Quinte region is great for a lot of reasons but the best is…we love to have fun!

photo of the TRent Port Marina in Quinte WestIn the warmer months, you can enjoy playing in many parks, walking and biking on our trails, enjoying outdoor entertainment in our amphitheatres and take your four-legged friend to the dog park at Zwick’s Park in Belleville. We host several outdoor events during the summer including the Waterfront & Ethnic Festival, RibFest, the Scottish-Irish Festival, the Quinte Exhibition and other outdoor events.

We love playing on the water as well. The Bay of Quinte, the Trent River and the many lakes in our region provide a great opportunity to enjoy water sports like fishing, boating, sailing, jet-skiing, water skiing and more. We have beautiful harbours, including the brand new Trent Port Marina in Quinte West.

In the cooler months, we still love to play outdoors. We have outdoor skating rinks, tobogganing hills, skiing and snowboarding at Batawa. We get into the holiday spirit with Santa Claus parades in all of our communities in November and Quinte West and Belleville both have outstanding municipal holiday light displays during the festive season.

We also have lots of indoor fun for you to enjoy. The Empire Theatre in Downtown Belleville has a full calendar of world-class recording artists, comedians and other performances. The Regent Theatre in Downtown Picton also showcases many live events. We have several movie theatres and other indoor activities like bowling, rock wall climbing and indoor skating.
