Parks

With the outstanding natural resources that are plentiful in the Bay of Quinte region, it’s no surprise that we have some of the most beautiful parks in the country.

We have five provincial parks nearby including Sandbanks, Lake on the Mountain and North Beach in Prince Edward County, Presqu’ile in Brighton and Ferris in Campbellford. These parks offer some of the most picturesque scenery and campgrounds in the country and lots of great options for hiking, walking and taking in all the best that nature has to offer.

Here are some can’t miss parks in the region:

Zwick’s Centennial Park - Belleville

A brand new, fully accessible play park can be found here as well as waterfront trails, soccer fields and a wading pool.

Centennial Park - Quinte West

Centennial Park is the hub for family activities in the summer months in Quinte West. Centennial Park has an ampitheatre and is host to several local events during the summer.

Located off highway 401 here you will find the popular pirate ship play structure and Kiwanis skatepark, used for skateboarding and BMX biking.

Kinsmen Splash Pad and Outdoor Pool - Belleville

Belleville kids have been learning to swim at the Kinsmen Pool for decades and the recently added splash pad has made the East Hill neighbourhood park even more popular with families in the summer.
