Belleville is the largest urban area in the Bay of Quinte region and is home to 50,000 residents.

The municipality of Belleville also includes the rural Foxboro, Corbyville, Plainfield and Roslin hamlets.

The region’s largest hospital is located in Belleville and it is home to most government and regional services.
